Verdict

Big field and a few in-form sprinters going toe-to-toe. NOSTRYIA (7) is one of them and there's every reason to think he can make it back-to-back wins. He's a multiple track and distance winner who relishes rain-affected tracks. SOLAR MIST (20) relished a bottomless heavy track last start to win well. His prior form is hard to knock so expect he will be a winning threat again. THUNDER SHOC (17) broke through for a deserved maiden win last time. This is obviously tougher, but she appears above average. She gets in well after the claim and she will roll along on speed and take some catching. INTEREST POINT (4) brings some decent Victorian form and can run well fresh, while HALLIWELL (10) is flying on wet tracks and must be a chance again, despite the rise in grade.
