Looks a two-horse race between PETA'S HEART (7) and ANTHRACITE (3). Peta's Heart is a progressive mare that had her colours lowered last start. She won a stronger race two starts ago then had some excuses last time. Tricky draw, but it's offset somewhat by the claim. Anthracite has won two from three and looks well above average. Pannell stays on and he can give the horse every possible chance from the low draw. Suspect they will pare down to fight it out over the final furlong. AMBER NOOK (11) should be ready to peak but needs to find a few lengths on the favourites. Both LOMAX (4) and HIGH GARDEN (10) have ability on their day and warrant some thought.
