This looks a good race for ZEBELLA (5), who was due to go around last week before the meeting was called off. She was narrowly defeated in a similar race last start and will strip fitter second-up. Her second-up statistics are great and she's been kept up to the mark with a trial between runs. She will race handy and be hard to beat. KARAVAS (2) brings plenty of class and looks well placed back to this grade after tackling a Stakes race in Melbourne last start. She won't be far away. CLARENCE (8) has ability but needs everything to go right. He looks a place chance. Hard to fault the recent form of MT NISEKO (4). He is drawn low and can hold a spot so include him in the main chances, while SIR NOW (1) has to be respected given his brilliant winning strike rate.
