Punters will need to be brave here, with a couple of horses who can have a think about it lining up as leading contenders. One of them is PELEVECCHIO (10), who has run well without winning in both starts this campaign. She's run well in much stronger races than this but only has the lone win to her name. She stays at the mile and maps to get a cosy run just behind the speed. Can she win? Yes. Does she want to? We'll find out. BAD DETECTIVE (4) is a progressive type of horse but he was poor last start. If you can forgive one bad run, he must be included here. It's hard to fault the recent form of HIGH TOR (12) who has been flying in lower grade. This is harder but she can run a cheeky race from the low draw with the 3kg claim.
