PURPLE PRINCE (2) has switched yards and now in the Jeremy Sylvester stable. Never comfortable on the Ballarat Synthetic track when a fading tenth over 2100m. Given the one soft trial over 1200m at Wyong. Assess on his minor placing two starts back at Bairnsdale. Leading prospect. XERXES (4) deep into his prep and doesn't have to improve much to win this. Sat off the speed before launching late with a narrow second over 1400m at Tamworth. Regular rider hops back aboard and he finds a thin maiden. ZAINSTAR (5) up in trip second up when he gripped on late when a tough fourth over 1400m at Tamworth. Maps well again in a suitable contest. LUNA CRUISER (9) up in class from the wide gate when she failed to get into the contest, finishing sixth over 1500m at Newcastle. Finished runner up two back and can bounce back quickly.
