Chances galore. TUTTO (11) has raced just five times, all of them in town, so this will be a change of pace. Was checked on several occasions and raced very wide for the trip so put a line through that last run at Canterbury. Nicely placed today to make his presence felt. GARRIX (8) has impressed at both runs this prep. Finished the race climbing over heels at Kembla last time, beaten just 1.3 lengths in a desperately unlucky run. Fitter now and should relish this step up in distance. KUMBAYA (13) stepped up to 1900m for the first time and did a fine job to close hard and grab second at Canterbury recently. Progressive staying type who will be tough to hold out. ALMANZAS (5) came from last to get up for fourth when returning from a long break over 1400m at Orange last start. Will enjoy getting to this trip for the first time. FREE AND FAST (7) savaged the line to be beaten just a length over the mile at Kembla last time. Lining up for only the third time so there is more to come.
