PUERTO BANUS (1) returns after a five-week let-up. Charged home late but just missed over 1200m at Wyong two back when coming off a similar freshen up. New to this trip but trust Paul Perry has pulled the right rein. FEDERAL RESERVE (7) continued his fine form when he led all the way to score narrowly over the mile at Gosford last time out. Has been up for a while now but keeps delivering. Hard to say he won't do it again. CALL ME BASIL (6) has recorded a couple of huge wins of late, most recently leading from barrier rise and putting a gap on a Class 1 field over 1500m at Port Macquarie. Drops 4kgs after the claim and looks capable of taking this next step. ETCHED IN TIME (5) returned to the winner's list with a gutsy effort over this trip at Nowra recently. Should give a good account again. Last start Port Macquarie winner TACT (4) takes on some better types this time but a top four finish is not out of the question.
