GIGGENBACH (11) is a 4yo mare on the up having won two of her past three, running out a dominant winner at Mornington last time out when rising past a mile for the first time. Clearly relished the distance there and can go right on with it now she's hit her range. MORRISSETTE (2) is racing well. She struggled to make inroads in the Pinker Pinker Plate last time with things against but her form prior was excellent and she can bounce back. STORM AHEAD (15) presents third up having shown nice improvement last start at Geelong when boxing on well over the 1765m to finish second. Fitter again now and should handle the extra ground. VELLASMACHINE (13) is one crying out for a trip, getting home well at Bendigo over 1500m last time. Her 3yo form over the Winter reads well for this. PROMISED LAND (1) has claims on best form.
