He's narrowly preferred to Cueros, who merits plenty of respect back in a novice (under a penalty) but wouldn't be ideally suited by softening ground. General Briar completes the shortlist given he was running well when falling behind A Pai De Nom on hurdle debut and could go well dropped in trip.
