Newman sticks and gets map favours. SHALAMIYNA (5) drops further in weight for this and not that far off another win. Back in trip when closing late for a respectable third over 1614m at Taree. No excuses today. SHEZATEMPEST (6) struggled late in the heavy (10) going when a fading third over 1400m at Newcastle. This looks easier and stays in the mix on an improving track. NIKODY'S BINKS (7) scored a surprise win two back from the wide gate, then came out fast again when a wilting tenth over 1415m at Grafton. Can bounce back quickly on the backup from the inside gate.
