She had won a trial before that very easily, and from a superior draw this time, she can take them all the way. GINGER MISS (13) has joined the O'Sullivan/Scott stable for her 3-year-old season, and looks in great nick after winning the most recent of her 2 tune-up trials. Hard to beat fresh up. MERILLIAN (5) won a trial before a sound effort fresh up at Avondale on a track that was very testing. She will strip fitter, and can figure in the top 3 here. HONOR THE NAME (6) was fourth as the favourite on debut and then was seventh at Taupo nearly 3 weeks ago. She is looking for a firmer surface and will show her true ability once she has conditions that suit her. HIT 'N' RUN (7) did not do much in her initial prep, but looks to be a lot stronger this season, with a couple of solid trials to her name. Each way, especially if the money comes for her.
