RICHARD AND I (4) improved in each of his first couple of starts this prep before putting in a poor effort as the favourite at Cambridge on the poly track last time out. He has been given a freshen up, and is much better than that recent run suggests. Follow your money. DUPONT (1) made up plenty of late ground when finishing fifth fresh up in a good field at Ellerslie 11 days ago. He has a superior gate this time and will relish the extra 100m on offer. Hard to beat. WE FOUND LOVE (12) resumes without a recent trial, and just battled late last season on a couple of testing wet tracks. She is worth each-way consideration in this field. BELLARISTA (8) finished second at a recent trial. She cops a tough gate for her return, but as long as the track is not too wet, then she can figure in the top 4 at some value. GOLD CARD (7) battled on strongly fresh up at Arawa Park 17 days ago on a heavy track. He has not missed a cheque in a couple of start second up in the past, so stick with him.
