CALIDO MAGIC (10) handy gelding finally drawn a low barrier at his third run in. Snagged back from the draw and closed off strongly in the heavy (10) going when fifth over 1100m at this track. Maps to stalk the good tempo and is well weighted with Owen's 3kg claim. Gets his chance. NIMBLE STAR (2) progressive Dubbo-trained gelding racing quickly through his grades. Bounced off his dominant first up win, with a gritty on pace second over 1200m at Tamworth in a C3. Will sit on the strong tempo and prove hard to get past. KREON (4) second of the Williams' runners who strips fitter after returning from a lengthy break with an eye catching fourth over 1100m at this track in Highway grade. Gets the right race shape. GRACEFUL ELLEN (19) tough mare deep into her prep with the three wins from her last five starts. Deserves her shot in town and can get cover from the draw. LIGHTNING SPEED (14) continued where she left off last time in when a dominant winner over this trip at Tamworth. Respect.
