PERFECT SCENARIO (1) was well in the market fresh up off the back of an easy trail win at Ashburton, but he failed to race up to expectations, finishing near the rear. He will be spot-on with that run under his belt and can make immediate amends. MYSTIC PARK (3) had an excuse when being a beaten favourite in Stakes company here near the end of April. He usually comes to hand quickly and is more than capable of winning fresh up at this level. TEXAS DOLLY (6) made some good progress last season and will be even stronger now. She has not had any public trials, but is in good hands, and has to be respected fresh up. MATSCOT (2) is a very handy gelding on his day, and he has been tuned up for his return with a recent trial at Ashburton. He loves it here and should be included in all combinations. CANDYCANE (5) has found it hard to win in the past, but her form has been very good. She won a trial recently very easily, and would not be a shock winner.
