She will need a touch of luck from a tricky gate, but with the right run, she is the one to beat. CAPTURED BY LOVE (1) arrived late from near last on the corner when finishing runner-up at Taupo just over 4 weeks ago. She cops another wide gate, but will have plenty of time to get balanced up on this course, and she can have the last say this time. GIRLS LIGHT UP (10) had found it hard to win a race until late last season, and has continued with her recent resurgence since relocating to the top South Island yard of Terri Rae, winning at Ashburton 8 days ago. Stick with her, even on a good track. THE RADIANT ONE (4) tried hard when finishing runner-up when resuming at Ascot Park just over 5 weeks ago. His trainer would not trek her here if he didn't think she was an each-way chance. CANDYCANE (5) was close up last start, and is always a top 4 chance.
