SACRED DIOR (10) fought hard all the way to the line as the favourite at Ashburton when finishing runner-up by less than a length nearly 3 weeks ago. There will be no fitness concerns now, and she is set to go one better this time. TAKE ON (4) won a trial prior to finishing third here a fortnight ago in a tougher field than what he meets here. He has a superior gate here and should go close to taking this out. BUSTER SHAW (5) needed his first run back from a spell and should be a quick improver with more racing. If he can settle not too wide from a tough gate, then he can figure in the top 4 here. Stick with him. CHANNA (12) does not have the best record here, but did win on the poly track on this course. She is stronger this season and should be nearing her peak third up from a spell. Each way claims in an open field. SCHEDAR (11) raced close to the pace when resuming at Ashburton nearly 3 weeks ago and kept on kicking to finish a brave runner-up. She has a good draw here. Go again.
