ROSSO (6) made a winning local debut after doing his previous racing in Australia. The manner in which he hit the line that day fresh up over 2200m, was impressive. He is up in class, but drops in weight, and he can double the dose. SUNSET BOULEVARD (2) was a beaten favourite at Trentham nearly a fortnight ago over 2400m, but did not lie down, finishing fifth. The blinkers go on here, and a firmer surface would also help him. Follow your money. CHAPINTEEL (3) has been steadily improving with each run back from a spell, and was doing her best work late when fourth here over 1800m 2 weeks ago. She is a top 3 threat this time. PEACHY KEEN (4) capped off some great form with a well-deserved win against a similar field here last time out. He is up in weight, but still has more to offer. SMARTROAD (7) was a big finishing winner at Waverley last time out. He would probably prefer a wet track, but he has really improved lately, and can't be underestimated.
