SIR ALBERT (6) has always been a tough gelding, and he is looking to have his best season yet, franking his top trial form with 2 wins on the bounce to open this prep, including the Listed Spring Classic here over 2000m 18 days ago. The drop back to a mile is no problem, and he is still well in at the weights. The hat-trick beckons. COGNITO (7) tried hard and ran on stoutly for second behind the top pick in the same race last start. He handles any track conditions, but his winning chances will soar on a damp deck. STONYBRECK (9) dropped his jockey at the start here last time out, after leading all the way to win here before that over 1400m by 5 lengths. Stick with him. KOPUA (10) motored home when finishing third at Tauherenikau 11 days ago, and his record here is very good. Stepping back up to a mile is the key, and he can take this out. THE RADIANT ONE (11) was paying overs when third in the Breeder's Stakes here 4 days ago. That form is good enough for this. Stick with her.
