Just under a month between runs when he pounced late to score in a tight finish over 1600m at Randwick. Proven at the trip and gets his chance again. KAPAKIRI (9) up in grade in a slowly run contest when a respectable fifth over 1500m at this track. Desperate for ground now and expected to take a hand in the finish. SEVEN'S (11) snagged back from the draw in an unsuitable contest when he warmed up late to finish fourth over 1500m here. Big drop in weight and expected to race closer today.
