CAPTAIN FURAI (5) failed to sprint with them in a muddling run contest with the 58kg when third over 1500m at this track on the firmer surface. Meets a few of these better off today and should get his desired track conditions. No excuse from the draw. NARBOLD (6) left a sitting shot late when jumped in class for a narrow second to Glad You Think So over 1600m at Randwick. Gapped the rest of the field on that occasion and gets map favours again. CRISTAL CLEAR (2) jumps in weight after he gripped on late for a gritty win over this track and trip at latest. Has further upside from the low draw and no shock to see him win again. ANYTHINK GOES (11) racing well and doesn't have to improve much to win this. McEvoy retains the ride and shapes as the value runner. VIENNA VIXEN (10) doesn't get the same map favours today but capable of sneaking into the minor money.
