Leading jockey on from the inside gate. Go close. FALCON GOLD (2) showed good early dash on resumption when a narrow second in fast time over 1000m at Gundagai. A repeat effort will see him take catching. SMOLENSKI (3) is a two-start maiden who resumed with a respectable fourth over 1200m at Nowra. Back in trip and can take a hand in the finish. The chances don't end there.
