JETHRO TULL (1) has been holding his form well and makes it easy on himself by racing in or near the pace, staying out of trouble. He tried hard when third at Te Rapa 5 weeks ago, and he may try and lead from his wide gate here. Stick with him. HONEY BADGER (3) is another very consistent mare, who has been in the money 3 times since winning here in June. Having her races well-spaced is a definite advantage on the wet tracks, and she should be hard to hold out again. LEVAKIA (7) won her last couple of starts before having a well-earned spell. She will be even better this season and can take this out. SAKO (4) made progress last prep, and also likes to race on the pace, which could make it interesting early on. He won the most recent of his 2 trials, and with the blinkers off, he will be ready to run a big race. Check the markets. JUDICIAL (5) was a beaten favourite in each of his 2 starts last prep, and his lead-up trial from has been good. Don't risk him.
