DROMMY (5) bolted in when scoring his maiden win in his penultimate start at Te Aroha, and he then ran on too late as the favourite at New Plymouth 3 weeks ago over 1400m in a decent field. The extra 200m will make all the difference, and he can take this out. Follow your money. INDIAN GOLD (1) rattled home late for third out wide at New Plymouth 3 weeks ago, and he will now be spot on with his fitness. He has found form at the right time, and he will go close to winning this. MISISSIPI GAMBLER (9) has been close up in 2 starts since winning her maiden fresh up as a hot favourite at Tauranga in late May. Stick with her on an each-way basis. ELLE MCFAB (11) did not have much go her way at Avondale last time out, and her record racing in an anti-clockwise direction is far better, which includes a win on this track. She cops a wide gate, but we still give her a strong each-way hope at odds. EVER CHARM (6) has not won for some time, but he is usually very consistent. Keep him very safe.
