OLD GOLD (5) looks the one to beat. Resumed with a fourth and since then has a win and two seconds, the latest in 3yo grade here when beaten in a photo. Tricky gate but has the right form. SUPER TWENTY THREE (3) kept coming last run from well back when turned wide and wasn't beaten far. Will relish the early pace here and charge late. PARCH (2) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Steven Royes barn. Finished off last campaign with a tenth at Kilmore 12 weeks ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but looks well placed. Among the leading chances. SPINELESS (11) has progressed nicely in her last couple of runs. Finished third at Mackay two starts back then got the job done by 1.2 lengths last time out over 900m at Mareeba. Speedy type drawn the inside and will give a sight. POWER PUFF (8) wasn't far away last time and off a better drawn here.
