MACHETE (8) made a good return over the Albury 900m, chasing gamely into fourth. The form from the race has stuck up superbly with already three subsequent winners. Kept fresh for this and will appreciate the added 100m. Bold showing anticipated. ROGUE NATION (3) is a first-starter by Unite And Conquer from Abba who has produced her share of winners. Trialled well at Goulburn and while the wide alley is a query, he shapes as a key player first-up. BLESSING SEASON (5) is another debutant. By Written By and has shown enough at the trials to warrant consideration. Market watch advised. DOUBTFREE (2) was plain fresh at Albury but strips fitter and can lift sharply.
