WACO KID (8) kept coming but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1300m at Ararat. Has race fitness on his side now. Hard to beat up to this trip in this suitable contest. HIRARKEE (10) finished ninth on debut then improved last start but found a couple better over 1600m at Kilmore, beaten 0.9 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. I AM TITAN (4) finished fourth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1350m at Donald, beaten 2 lengths. Has the ability to find the winners' list. SAKER FALCON (5) could only manage to finish fifth, beaten 5 lengths, at his latest appearance over 1400m at Albury. Among the better chances in what looks a nice race. VEINS WITHIN ROCK (7) was outclassed at his first two and ran an improved race in a more suitable maiden last time out, which looked a similar field to what he meets here.
