Fair maiden chaser but arrives in form after finishing runner-up in handicaps at Huntingdon (2½m) and Southwell (2m) last month. Likely to be in the mix from an unchanged mark.

Dual chase winner in early 2024 but was more miss than hit last season. Better effort this term when fifth of 8 at Warwick (2m, soft) 17 days ago but suspicion the wait for another win may go on a bit longer.

Won 2½m handicap chases at Newcastle and Kelso for this yard last season. Much depends on whether he's primed after months off.

Promise at the second time of asking over fences when runner-up in 2½m Newcastle handicap 22 days ago. Open to further progress and leading claims.

Has shaped quite well when third in a couple of handicaps around 2m since returning from wind surgery and will be suited by this step back up to around 2½m. On the shortlist.

Fairly useful form over hurdles for Hugo Merienne in France, but hasn't got near that level on these shores and it remains to be seen whether a switch to fences and application of blinkers spark an upturn in his fortunes.

Maiden hurdler/chaser who took a step back in the right direction after a breathing operation when second at Carlisle in April. Shaped as if he'd come on for his reappearance fifth at Market Rasen in October and he lines up here operating from a career-low mark.

Poor maiden hurdler. Was placed in a point at the start of his career but others are still preferred now chasing.

Has displayed more temperament than ability in recent times, faring no better for cheekpieces (retained) at Catterick last month.
