PETE THE PROPHET (5) is on debut but has a long build-up to this with five jumpouts since the start of July, including placings at the last four. There was a lot to like about the way he checked off heels and glided to the line under light riding in the latest at Penshurst. LOYALTY REIGNS (4) has not raced since his debut on February 23 over 1200m at Moe when he finished fourth, beaten 2.75 lengths. Capable of sharp improvement if solid recent jumpouts are any indication. VALOROUS STAR (8), in contrast, was given a solid hitout in his last-start Kilmore jumpout win, which should have him in a prominent position throughout here. INVINCIBLE AMOUR (10) has shown some ability at the jumpouts in readiness for this and can run a bold race.
