FREDERICK (2) returned from a spell a month ago when he was beaten 2.75 lengths into fourth over 1217m at Moe. Strips fitter for that performance and the sting out of the track isn't an issue. Can land in a good position and get the job done second-up. ALPINOVA (8) missed the placings two runs back then was never in contention last start when 4 lengths away in tenth over 1200m at Warrnambool. Finds an easier assignment and can turn things around. RANAKYE (6) didn't fire in tougher company at Kyneton last start following a good effort when wide at Moe. Expecting him to bounce back to his best form today which is likely to see him in the finish. KENTAHTEN (3) resumes for the new stable today and has shown promising signs at the jumpouts coming into this. Can play a leading role.
