WANT A WINNER (9) resumes today with a trial win under his belt recently, with the horse he beat at the trials performing strongly the other day. The inside draw is a big tick and he boasts a strong record at this track and trip. Still a progressive type who can return on a winning note. GIRLS DAY OUT (12) is another exciting type on the rise, winning off a freshen to show she's better than average. She drops a stack of weight here as she rises in grade, though she'll be hard to reel in with her racing pattern. We mightn't have seen the best of her just yet. ANGEL UNDERCOVER (1) missed as favourite at the end of last campaign but looks back in similar order judging by her latest trial. Riordan's claim comes in handy and she can make an impression. NORICH (3) has race fitness on his side and was good in Heavy going here last start. Can't be discounted. ATLANTIC SPIRIT (10) has winning claims on the quick turnaround.
