BOOKENDS (16) repeated the dose last start when winning by 0.4L over this course and distance last week. Up to Saturday grade now, but she's trending the right way and this looks to set up nicely for her. Pike sticking is a big push for her chances and she can bring up the hat-trick today. IN CONFIDENCE (13) was solid on resumption from a year-long break, finishing 2.4L off the winner last time out. That form has worked out well and the extra journey now is a big tick for her. Has handled wet going in the past and she creates plenty of interest. RIVA AQUARAMA (12) rates highly off her latest effort where she finished off strongly over 1400m. Back to 1200m now, but the wet going should suit her better. Likely to end up well back, but if she gets a bit of luck in running, she'll be flying late. YES I KNOW (5) can fire first-up for the new stable after a sneaky trial coming in. LET'S TALK (2) is better than he showed last time out and can bounce back.
