WESTERN LIGHTS (9) settled near the speed then gave plenty under pressure when a close third last start over 1175m at Albury. Has had plenty of chances but this is not strong and the set-up of the race looks ideal. ROSE DIAMOND (2) recorded her eighth minor placing from 14 starts when fresh from a spell last start over 1280m at the Canberra Acton track. Stalked the leader that day and it was only a lack of race fitness that cost her. Ready to finally break through. INZAIN BABY (6) enjoyed the step up in trip and ran a better race last start, finishing nicely to get up for third over 1180m at Gunnedah. Rock hard fit and capable of further progress. SON OF RUBICK (3) was beaten a long way when returning from a year on the sidelines at the Canberra Acton track recently. Can improve sharply with that run under the belt and the blinkers going on for the first time. MOUNT OGILVIE (4) impressed at Narrandera last time out and is getting better with racing.
