ABSOLUTIST (2) is a locally trained mare on debut. A rising six-year-old who has obviously had her issues but she looks ready to fire following a big recent trial win. Could not find a weaker race to belatedly launch her career. BASCILICA BABE (10) started favourite but didn't run as hoped at her only appearance to date back in February in Canberra. Recent trial winner who is in a new stable now and might be in for a bright campaign. AVALON (3) finished fourth but a long way from the winner on debut over this trip at Hawkesbury recently. This is many lengths easier so she can bob up without surprising. ATEBA (7) from the Nathan Doyle stable is on debut. Trial form has been impressive. Sure to give a good account. ARREST WARRANT (9) didn't do much first-up but can improve sharply.
