CHEVAL DE BOIS (2) strengthened over the break and is ready to win out to the 1600m on a firmer track. Eye-catching first-up fourth, then held a forward position to go under narrowly when second over 1550m at Randwick Kensington. Only has to hold that from to get the better of these. AETHELWULF (1) talented gelding who made a mess of them first-up with a comfortable 5-length victory at Newcastle. Shouldered the 60kg last start with a respectable fifth over 1400m at Newcastle. Zac Lloyd takes the reins and is ready for this trip and further now. Shapes as the main danger. CALL ME MOJO (4) faded late when a month between runs to secure fourth over 1600m at Wyong after showing good early speed. Has the upside to give a great sight with Tommy Berry booked. YACHIYO (3) chipped away late over the unsuitable trip first-up when fourth over 1300m at Hawkesbury. Raced well over this trip in Victoria last campaign. Maps well and can take a hand in the finish.
