Verdict

JANDAMI (4) is airborne and gets his first look at this sort of trip. Has been strong at the end of a mile when winning his last two, so expecting him to see it out without an issue. Holder sticking is another bonus. PLACO (1) is ticking along nicely and only has to hold his form to be fighting out the finish again. Expect him to spear across from the wide alley and lead them up once more. PETA'S HEART (8) was a barnstorming winner here three back when rattling home over 1800m. Was disappointing at Murray Bridge but got things straight back on track here last time when closing strongly into fourth behind Jandami, who she meets with a nice weight pull. Can turn the tables. JUST A BROTHER (9) has been warming nicely at the end of shorter trips waiting to get out to this sort of distance. Will drift back from the wide gate but can make strong late inroads. Don't underestimate. FLASH ALICE (6) isn't doing much wrong and also deserves genuine respect.
