To the feature! SIR NOW (3) is as consistent as they come and gets a nice pull at the weights over a couple of his main threats. No knocks on the champ. He'll be right there at the business end again and would make a fitting winner. LINGANI (7) has proven a tricky one to catch in the past but has struck career best form, beating home a few of his main threats in their recent encounters. Drawn sticky but is good enough to overcome. VESTAS (9) has X-factor and can come on nicely second-up after hitting the line strongly at Flemington behind Ndola and Lingani in the LR Santa Ana Lane Sprint Series Final. She'll be looking to pounce on them late. CICALA (12) strips fitter third-up and looks to still be figuring it all out. No reason she can't take the next step. The promising MATING CALL (8) returns well short of a preferred trip and while this is probably too sharp for him, he could get going late to nick a minor spot.
