EXFORTYTHREE (4) lifted strongly only to just miss last start over 1000m at Bendigo having come down from NSW prior. Stays at the 1000m here which is a tiny niggle but finds a very winnable race and should go close. BOLD BORDEAUX (2) resumes. He was a narrow winner on debut as favourite before being about the mark in two races thereafter. Has ability and Ben Allen booked is a good push. TOO TOUGH (5) didn't jump as a $3 favourite two back and took no part, then just didn't fire at all last time at $2.50. Certainly wearing thin but he is better than that and can improve off a freshen. BOLD PRINT (1) has won two in a row on synthetic. Onto turf here some query but is racing well having beaten WATTEN ASSETT (7) last time who is in the minor mix as well.
