Stalked the speed to win two starts back, then found a very strong contest when seventh to Peace Bird over 1300m at Goulburn on August 23. Solid top three contender. SATIN AND CASH (8) has gone to a new level this prep with the two wins from her last four outings. Jumped in grade and trip when she chipped away late to finish fourth over 1600m at Coffs Harbour. Kept fresh and back to her right trip here. Each way. KID BILLY (6) settled well back and found them too sharp with a plugging seventh over 1200m at Coffs Harbour. Fresh for this and look for him late with the claim. EXPLOSIVE TYCOON (9) thereabouts of late and due for a change of luck. Shouldered the 58kg with a plugging fourth over 1400m at Tuncurry. Key jockey change and sure to be around money.
