HAIDA GWAII (5) hasn't trialled since June but did have three trials in readiness for her fresh run. The time between trials and fresh run is a query, but she's won 2/3 first-up and Chris Parnham knows her well. Can sit up front from the outset and give them something to chase. PIN DEEP (6) won well two back before jumping an odds-on favourite last time out, missing by 0.3L. Will need a touch of luck from the draw, but he has good early speed and can put himself in a handy position. Racing in good order and he can put his best foot forward once again. SEPTEMBER BORN (7) boasts a good fresh record and he is a winner when first-up in the past. His recent trial was solid and he is a winner over this track and trip previously. Still has some upside and won't be far away. GINNIVAN (2) caused an upset win last time out and can repeat the dose. MAN CRUSH (1) can improve coming back in trip.
