SHE'S EXOTIC (5) wasn't too far away in Listed company two back then bumped into the smart Balance The Books over this distance at the Sunshine Coast a fortnight ago. The winner of seven from 14 who looks well in on 55.5kgs. In the right race to return to peak form. LAYDOWNLILY (6) settled last then passed a few in the straight when resuming over 1000m at the Sunshine Coast last time out. Has a good second-up record and today's trip should see the best in her. SURPRISE HONEY (14) has been a touch disappointing in her four runs this prep. Drops sharply in the weights and is very fit so give her one more chance. SCUD (4) scored impressively first-up at the Gold Coast then was out of her depth in stakes company last time. Still has plenty to offer at just the third run of the campaign. TALTARNI FIELDS (1) struggled first-up in a $200k race at the Sunshine Coast. Yet to miss the frame in four second-up runs and he loves Doomben. Definite contender.
