SPIRIT OF BARTY (4) has been runner-up to the airborne Grinzinger Champ at her last couple, both times over 1200m. Speedy mare who will enjoy coming back in trip and with less formidable opposition today she can grab a well-deserved win. JIMMY'S BROTHER (2) appreciated the drop in grade when an effortless all-the-way winner over this distance at the Sunshine Coast last time out. Needs to go up a level but is lightly raced and heading the right way. HOWDOYOUZOU (3) has been kept fresh since leading and just failing to hang on over this course and distance five weeks ago. Yet to miss the frame in five career starts and is in the right race to maintain that record. IDLEONBY (9) last appeared in December when trained by the Hayes brothers. Lightly raced mare with good form on the Victorian provincial circuit. Betting holds the key. DON'TCHA LUV'ER (7) just missed first-up at the Sunny Coast. Defeated Howdoyouzou second-up last prep on similar weight terms. Must be respected.
