GRINZINGER CHAMP (6) continued her wonderful form since coming to Brisbane with a devastating win last start over 1200m at Doomben, coming from last in a small field to career away late. New to this trip but based on the last effort she will eat it up. EDITED BY (1) has been racing in open company and finding it tough, although a 1.1 length defeat two back over this course and distance was full of merit. Beautifully graded today - his poor Eagle Farm record is the niggling concern. LOCKYER (9) made a move before the bend then finished too well in a Class 3 over 1350m at Doomben recently. Poorly drawn but with even luck he should be in the finish again. ZOUPER FUND (2) pulled up lame last start at Randwick so put a pen through that result. The Sydney form keeps delivering in Brissie of late so do not underestimate this lightly raced six-year-old. GAMBINO (5) was a tragedy beaten at Doomben last Saturday. Big chance to make amends on the wide-open spaces at the Farm.
