MARETH (1) underrated mare who brings the strongest form here first-up. Much better effort when she sat on the fast tempo to finish a narrow second in the LR S/Pacific over 1400m here last April. Closed strongly in her only trial over 900m and will be charging late with the 3kg claim. ERNAUX (13) has a poor win record but indicated a win was imminent with a close-up second over 1200m at Rosehill last Saturday. Desperate for a firmer surface and expected to go close. JELLICIOUS (2) produced solid figures in the heavy (9) going with a tidy second over 1200m at Rosehill. Has the speed to get over and figure prominently. SUPER BRIGHT (4) keeps surprising at the big odds and she gets a much better set-up here. At her top now and stays in the calculations. TEQUILA BABY (7) began awkwardly and never looked comfortable in the heavy (9) going with a poor last over this trip at Rosehill. Gets the right surface today from a good draw. Respect.
